Christmas morning at home

Here's your stocking Leo,what do you think?

"Is this toy for me too?"

"WOW it's awesome, thanks Santa!"

We had a wonderful Christmas with all our family. It was so great to see everyone and spend some time together--the real joy of Christmas. We started our Christmas celebration on Christmas Eve at Mark's cousin's home for dinner in San Rafael. Leo enjoyed lots of attention and stayed up way passed his bedtime. He also met his newest cousin, William Ntege Kimuli, born just the day before, from a distance of course.
Christmas morning we woke with the sun as usual, well before the sun really and enjoyed our stockings. Leo played some more with his new toy and pulled some previously enjoyed but long forgotten toys out of his stocking. Taking things out of other things is fun! Who cares what those things are!
Then we headed to PapaTom and Grandma Linda's for brunch and more gift opening with Uncle Tommy, Aunt Tina, Aunt Coley and Jenn and Chris. Then off to the airport for a 4:30pm flight to Orange County to see mama's side of the family. We arrive in time for Christmas dinner, yeah more eating! Well of course Leo crashed long before then. He was an awesome flier though, slept most of the way and wasn't bothered by any of it. We spent the weekend at Aunt Joey's house, hanging out with family and enjoying the So Cal weather, yeah right, it was COLD.
We also visited Mark's college friends the McCarthy's and met little Katie for the first time. She is 3 weeks younger than Leo and we are making wedding plans.
Finally back home on Sunday, Leo again slept most of the flight, so wonderful. Can't say I would look forward to a flight any longer than 1 hour 15minutes, but he did great. What a crazy whirlwind weekend but it was worth it to get to see so many loved ones. Leo had a great time.
