Good mexican food, trains and outdoor eating

If you have a little one who likes these three things, and you like good, different Mexican food, check out Cocina Poblana, down at Jack London Square.

It does get a little loud when the trains go by as Leo will tell you, but it's actually a very good distraction during a meal. It's a little on the pricey side, we used a gift certificate from http://www.restaurant.com/index.asp?, which if you've never used has some pretty cool deals. Be sure to sign up and wait until the end of the month when everything gets marked way down.

It's also a great way to spend your money in Oakland at a local place. They have another location in Emeryville, but it's not nearly as nice. Leo also really enjoyed the live band playing there. Friday nights only I think. Which reminds me, now that Leo is in the 2's room he can try out the music class. I think he's really gonna like it. His dad has already taught him to play a mean air guitar and drums.
