Pumpkin Time!

Luckily there was a break in the rain so we ran over to the pumpkin lot on Piedmont Avenue. Leo had already visited it with his school so he led the way. He said, "There! That's where I went with my friends!"

We found a couple good ones and headed home to carve. Of course Leo was very interested in "helping" Dad by using the knife. He wasn't thrilled about scooping the insides out at first, but then seemed to enjoy it. Once we lit the candles inside Leo wanted to blow them out like he's learned to do with birthday candles. We had to convince him to leave the candles burning so we can see the faces.
