I've had something of a writer's block about posting lately. Thing is during one of my half naps(you know the kind you take when the baby's sleeping and you have a million other things running through your mind that you need to do and you are wondering if the baby's going to get up any time anyway, so is laying down really worth it) I dreamed of the perfect narration of this post but can't recall it now.
On Saturday we went to the Dunsmuir-Hellman Historic Estate for the "Great Easter Egg Hunt." It is a beautiful and historic location, worth a visit if you've never been. The Mother's Day High tea looks like fun if you have older kids.
All together we loved the venue but probably enjoyed our early morning egg hunt around the house the next day more. Leo even found a couple eggs and brought them to me saying, "Here Mama, these are for Baby Kate." Then proceeded to eat himself into a sugar induce frenzy before breakfast. Later we went to church, the kids were good, aka Kate slept and Leo played in the kid's room. Then we picked up a yummy tri tip, some asparagus and peas for a simple and delicious Easter dinner.
