I just remembered this story.
A couple months ago we were on our way up the mountain to Truckee. My ears started to pop so I turned to Leo and Kate in the backseat and asked, "Kids, how do your ears feel?" The both immediately put their hands up to their ears and, probing their ears with their hands and fingers, said, "They feel fine Mom."
